DIGITAL LIBRARY@MAKERSPACE

The first digital library at MarkerSpace in Balik Pulau is now officially open to the students. It is an initiative by the Penang Island City Council (MBPP) to set-up a high end library with digital approach for the students in Balik Pulau, Penang MBPP thank important partners such as MDEC, Intel Technology Sdn Bhd, Penang Science Cluster, the Balik Pulau community, Politeknik Balik Pulau, including Sophic Automation Sdn Bhd that contributed in this initiative.

Recently, Sophic Automation has sponsored 3D printers to contribute the setting-up of the digital library, We support MBPP's efforts to promote digitalisation, to cultivate more young talents the knowledge of digitalisation, as well as to further accelerate the development of Penang, making Penang a SMARTer City.
